Your Celebration Spaces
When you celebrate at Downham Hall, your chosen space is exclusively yours. Whether it’s an elegant dinner for close family or a party with a dance floor and DJ, we have the perfect setting.
The Orangery
Bathed in natural light with French doors opening onto the patio, our enchanting Orangery seats up to 20 for dining or accommodates 40 standing guests for drinks receptions. Stunning countryside views and a sophisticated atmosphere make it perfect for intimate celebrations. In summer, guests can drift between the elegant interior and the terrace as the sun sets over the hills.
The De Beauvoir Suite
Classic English charm meets contemporary comfort in this elegant suite. Perfect for milestone celebrations of up to 36 seated for dining, or hosting 50 standing guests for drinks and dancing. Perfect on its own or paired with the Orangery for larger gatherings – perhaps dinner in one space and entertainment in the other.
The Luxury Marquee
For grand celebrations of up to 200 guests, our heated marquee is the ultimate party space. Draped ceilings adorned with twinkling lights and chandeliers, a fully-stocked bar, comfortable seating, and dance floor create the perfect atmosphere. Seats 110 for dinner or hosts 200 for evening parties. In summer, the sides roll up revealing views across the rolling hills.
Music is permitted until 11.45pm across all our spaces.

Our 2 AA Rosette awarded kitchen creates beautiful menus using fresh, seasonal ingredients from local producers. For the most significant celebrations, hire Downham Hall in its entirety. You and your guests will have exclusive use of the manor, grounds, and our five luxury boutique bedrooms.
No journey home to worry about – your closest family and friends simply retire to their individually styled rooms after the final toast. The next morning, gather for breakfast in the Orangery, reliving the celebration’s highlights while overlooking the countryside.
